Its give-away announcement time!

Well hello! How was your weekend?

Mine was well spent getting started on a new weaving project, shopping for dreamy vintage dresses at Retrospectrum and learning about Filipino food but not actually getting to eat any!

Isn't this dress fab!? It matches my blog theme!
Photo taken by Dann @ Retrospectrum

But I know you don't want to hear about all that! I know you just want to know who the winner of the give-away is!!!

So to recap - the prize for this give-away is two copies of Glory Days Vintage magazine - the 60s and Art Deco issues and a Butterick 2624 sewing pattern

Exciting!

So all up there were 16 entries from both the blog post comments and the pattern page comments

All the names were written out...

Popped into this fancy yellow glass jug...

Given a shake...

And a pour...

Oh! A winner

So who is the lucky person???

IT'S ROX!
(Yippee!)

Congratulations lovely lady! Pop me an email with your postal address and I'll get it on its way to you!

Thank you to everyone else who entered! If your keen to get your hands on a copy of Glory Days magazine you can pop over to their website and have it sent out to you!

Have a fab week everyone!

  5. Hi, dear Catherine! I love shops like Retrospectrum. You walk through the door and all your senses are stimulated at once, producing the experience of stepping back in time. I can smell the incense and peppermint all the way from Florida U.S.A. You look absolutely fabulous in that outfit and the picture was composed with the perfect backdrop to create the illusion that it's a vintage photo of a 60s dream girl. My 60s girlfriend (who became the first Mrs. Shady) wore those colors and prints all the time and she was very fond of shifts.

Congratulations to Rox, the winner of your giveaway! Have a wonderful week ahead. dear Catherine!
